Continue to the historic district of Kota Tua Jakarta, also known as Old Batavia. This charming area showcases Dutch colonial buildings surrounding the lively Fatahillah Square.

Next, stop for photos at the iconic National Monument (Monas), a towering symbol of Indonesian independence located in the heart of the city.

Leave the busy capital behind and travel to the cooler highlands of Bogor to visit the famous Bogor Botanical Gardens, one of the largest and oldest botanical gardens in Southeast Asia.

In the afternoon, continue the scenic drive through the mountains to Bandung, where you will check in to your hotel.
